Ingwe, aiming to surpass their third-place in the last FKF Cup, face Tore Bobe in the round of 16 with high hopes.

AFC Leopards are set to face off against Shabana in the round of 16 of the 2023/2024 FKF Cup at the Jomo Kenyatta Mamboleo Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Ingwe's journey to this stage was marked by a remarkable performance in the Round of 32, where they ousted PAC University with a 3-0 victory.

Speaking ahead of the crucial clash, Captain Miheso has highlighted the significance of the match and the team’s readiness.

“As the captain, I’m confident that our team is fully prepared and eager for our upcoming FKF Cup duel against Shabana FC. They are a very tough opponent in this cup game. We have put in the hard work during this long, and we are confident in our abilities to give our best performance on the field," Miheso articulated.

The midfielder further emphasized the importance of support from the fans, urging them to fill the stands and lend their energy to the team.

“I urge you to come out in large numbers and support us. Your presence and energy in the stands make a huge difference and inspire us to push harder and strive for victory. Together, let’s show our unity and passion for AFC Leopards as we aim for success in this important match. See you all at the game, and let’s make our presence felt," he added passionately.

Shabana, not to be underestimated, made it through to the round of 16 by winning a nail-biting match against Shalimar on penalties, at the Longonot Horticulture Grounds.

The victor of this match will not only advance to the quarterfinals, scheduled for April 27-28, 2024, but also move one step closer to the grand prize.

The champions of the FKF Cup will claim not only the title, Ksh2 million, and bragging rights but also a coveted slot in the CAF Confederation Cup.
