Harambee Stars coach has made key changes to the lineup for a crucial World Cup qualifier against Ivory Coast, focusing on fresh strategy.

Harambee Stars head coach Engin Firat has made three significant changes to the starting line-up that faced Burundi, as the team gears up to take on Ivory Coast on Tuesday, June 11 at the Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe, Malawi.

The crucial Group F match, set for a 3 PM kick-off promises to be a stern test for the Kenyan side.

One of the standout changes sees Oman-based defender Alphonse Omija slotting in at right-back.

This shift allows Rooney Onyango to move further up the wing, adding more attacking options on the flank. The experienced Cliff Miheso finds himself on the bench for this encounter.

In the midfield, Sweden-based Timothy Ouma has earned his second start, bringing a fresh dynamic to the team's strategy.

Ouma will be complemented by the experienced duo of Anthony Akumu and Richard Odada.

The midfield will also feature Rooney Onyango and Kenneth Muguna, the latter expected to play a pivotal role in linking up play and creating opportunities for the forwards.

Leading the charge as the sole striker is the prolific Michael Olunga, who will be looking to add to his impressive goal tally. Olunga’s presence upfront is crucial for Harambee Stars’ attacking ambitions.

Here is Harambee Stars' starting lineup in full
