The talented South American duo have taken their games to different heights under De Zerbi, which has attracted the interest of the three mega clubs.

Brighton and Hove Albion manager Roberto De Zerbi has admitted the club will lose some players this summer, mentioning Moises Caicedo and Alexis Mac Allister as potential departures.

Manchester United and Liverpool are heavily interested in Mac Allister ahead of the summer according to The Athletic.

Arsenal pursued Caicedo in the January window but were unable to sign the midfielder. Caicedo also signed a new contract with Brighton until 2027.

De Zerbi has now suggested either could leave the AMEX Stadium in the summer.

“We are working to become a big team. We are not a big team yet but if you want to compete with a big team like Arsenal and qualify for Europe, we have to progress our mentality,” De Zerbi told Sky Sports.

“The players are the most important thing. I’m lucky to have players at this level. I’m working to give them my ideas and mentality but without good players you can’t achieve these results.

“We will lose some players, maybe Caicedo or maybe Mac Allister. We need to bring in some other good players. For Mitoma and Estupinan, they need to stay with us.I don’t know if they are ready to play with big teams. You have to be ready in the head and we can offer them the chance to improve.”

The Brighton head coach oversaw an impressive 3-0 win over Arsenal on Sunday evening to leave his side sixth in the Premier League.

De Zerbi left Robert Sanchez, who he has dropped in favour of Jason Steele, out of his 20-man squad for the trip to the Emirates Stadium.

“We spoke two days ago and we reached an agreement that he wasn’t going to come here. He knew he wasn’t going to play.”
