Mozambique vs Ghana
The Black Stars appeared set for victory after two penalty strikes in either half from the younger Ayew gave them a comfortable lead.
But they capitulated in dramatic fashion, allowing Mozambique to score twice in additional time to snatch a share of the spoils.
The devastating late collapse leaves Ghana's fate hanging by a thread after the Black Stars finished third in Group B behind leaders, Cape Verde and Egypt.
Only a win would have guaranteed passage into the knockout rounds but after tossing away two points in their draw with the gallant Mambas from Mozambique, Ghana is facing another shameful first-round exit at the AFCON.
With a lot to play for, Ghana needed a win and another result in the group to go their way if their AFCON 2023 dream would stay alive.
The Black Stars started on a positive not when Jordan fired them 1-0 ahead at the break after a calmly converted penalty.
The Crystal Palace repeated the feat in the second half from 12 yards again to give them a comfortable lead as Black Stars looked set to finish second in Group B.
However, just when they thought the job was done, Mozambique struck twice in added time to deny Ghana three points and potentially end their AFCON2023 campaign.
