The Gunners' presence at Emirates Stadium has been growing since the start of last season.

Arsenal Women have confirmed they will play more Women’s Super League (WSL) matches at Emirates Stadium next season.

Jonas Eidevall’s side will host five league matches at the ground in 2023-24, which rises from the three WSL matches played there this season. One of which, September’s 4-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur, set a league record attendance of 47,367.

Five Champions League matches were also played at Emirates Stadium this season. This includes this month’s sold-out semi-final second leg against Wolfsburg which saw 60,063 supporters in attendance.

Should Arsenal qualify for next season’s Champions League, all group games will be played at Emirates Stadium again.

“We’re delighted to confirm that our women’s first team will play five WSL games at Emirates Stadium next season,” Arsenal CEO, Vinai Venkatesham said.

“We’ve received fantastic support at Emirates Stadium this year, setting a new record attendance in the WSL and achieving a memorable sell-out for our recent UEFA Women’s Champions League semi-final against Wolfsburg earlier this month.

“It’s wonderful to see the support for the team at Emirates Stadium, Meadow Park and on the road week in, week out. This latest announcement ensures that as many supporters as possible can enjoy the matchday experience with us, as we continue to support the sustainable growth of women’s football.”

Arsenal Women’s presence at Emirates Stadium has been growing since the start of last season when they hosted Chelsea on the opening day. This has taken massive strides, with over 240,000 tickets purchased to watch Arsenal Women at Emirates Stadium this term.

A number they will look to build on next season, with Eidevall previously mentioning a permanent move to the Emirates is a long-term aim.
