The Sugar Millers showed true grit and determination as they fought back to beat City Stars.
While Nzoia Sugar remained in the third position on the log and two points off the top, they are disadvantaged as Gor Mahia and Tusker have a game in hand.
Despite the Sugar Millers’ unfancied position, coach Babu remains adamant that anything is possible.
“We are just two points behind now. But there are still two games to go, and anything can happen,” Babu said. “We will tackle the next one against KCB in our backyard. But I think we performed well against City Stars and were the better team.
“We should have won the game by a bigger margin, there was no danger and they played us from our mistakes to score their goals. But sometimes football works like that.”
