Sadio Mané could exit Al Nassr this summer as the Saudi club eyes a squad overhaul and fresh attacking options.

Senegal international Sadio Mané is reportedly set to leave Al Nassr during the upcoming summer transfer window, despite his contract running until 2026.

According to multiple Saudi-based outlets, the former Liverpool winger has been placed on the club’s transfer list as Al Nassr prepares to make sweeping changes following a trophyless campaign.

The decision comes as a surprise to many, especially given Mané’s solid performances during the latter stages of the season.

The 32-year-old was among the few consistent performers for the Riyadh-based side, showing flashes of his world-class talent and leadership on the pitch.

However, Al Nassr's overall strategy of relying on high-profile international stars has not delivered the success they envisioned.

While their rivals Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad have lifted silverware, Faris Najd have been left empty-handed, despite splashing out on marquee names like Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcelo Brozovic, and Mané himself.

With the club now re-evaluating its approach and aiming to revitalize its squad, Mané has become one of the first casualties of this expected overhaul.

European Return or Saudi Switch?

Despite his impending departure, Mané is not expected to struggle to find suitors. European clubs—particularly in Turkey—have expressed keen interest in bringing him back to the continent.

Turkish giants such as Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe are reportedly monitoring his situation closely.

Yet, a major stumbling block remains his salary, which is among the highest in the Saudi Pro League.

This financial hurdle could limit his options in Europe and potentially see him sign for another club within the Saudi league.

Several domestic rivals may view Mané as an attractive short-term addition to bolster their title aspirations, given his proven quality and experience.

The Bamably native's departure would mark another shift in Al Nassr's evolving project.

The club had anticipated Cristiano Ronaldo leaving this summer, but recent developments suggest the Portuguese star may remain for at least one more season.

With Ronaldo staying, Al Nassr now seems determined to restructure the squad around him—starting with Mané's exit.

Garnacho and New Targets on the Radar

Al Nassr is reportedly eyeing Manchester United's rising Argentine star Alejandro Garnacho as a potential replacement for Mané.

The 19-year-old winger has reportedly fallen out with new United manager Ruben Amorim, making him a realistic target for the Saudis.

This shift in focus comes after the club failed in their pursuit of Liverpool's Luis Díaz, with new manager Arne Slot stating his intent to keep the Colombian international at Anfield.

Garnacho, with his youth and explosive style, could represent a new direction for Al Nassr’s rebuilding efforts.

The reported overhaul signals a decisive summer ahead for the Riyadh-based giants. While the club continues to pursue high-profile names, the emphasis may be shifting toward younger, hungrier players who can be molded into future stars—rather than relying solely on established veterans.
