AFC Leopards claimed a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Ulinzi Stars, with Victor Otieno's dramatic late goal ensuring all three points in an intense FKF Premier League clash.

AFC Leopards walked away with a dramatic late win over Ulinzi Stars, thanks to Victor Otieno’s added-time strike in an exciting FKF Premier League clash on Thursday at the Ulinzi Sports Complex.

Coming off a goalless draw against Kenya Police at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani, AFC Leopards were eager to make an impact.

Ulinzi Stars vs AFC Leopards: First Half Report

The match started with great effort from AFC Leopards. In the ninth minute, Tyson Otieno came close with a lovely effort from an overhead kick, following a wonderful delivery from James Kinyanjui, but it narrowly went wide.

Ingwe continued piling up pressure on Ulinzi Stars, who were just fresh from a 2-1 defeat to KCB and were also looking for redemption.

Masuta Masita had an open chance to score in the 15th minute, after being set up nicely by Paul Okoth but Patrick Katasi was on the lookout as he made an incredible save.

Despite a flurry of attacking attempts and strong defensive displays from both teams, AFC Leopards and Ulinzi Stars remained deadlocked as they approached the 20th minute, with the score still locked at 0-0.

AFC Leopards made another scoring attempt in the 29th minute, but it was saved by the Ulinzi Stars goalkeeper, Timothy Odhiambo.

In the 34th minute, AFC Leopards were awarded a free kick, but Timothy Odhiambo came through for Ulinzi Stars once again, stopping the ball.

In added time, AFC Leopards break the deadlock as Tyson Otieno delivers a perfectly taken corner that finds the back of the net.

Boniface Muchiri attempts to level the score with a free kick, but his effort sails just inches over the bar, and the referee blows the whistle for half-time.

Ulinzi Stars vs AFC Leopards: Second Half Action

Coming in for the second half, AFC Leopards had a chance to score in the 47th minute through a corner, but it was not converted successfully.

In the 50th minute, Ulinzi Stars put up a good fight and equalised through Paul Okoth. In the second half, Ulinzi Stars made crucial substitutions, with Peter Mwasi coming on for Stanley Waswa, while the injured Masuta was forced off and replaced by Kelvin Thairu.
