Six FKF Women's Cup matches were played on Sunday across the country.

Vihiga Queens and Zetech Sparks all advanced into the last sixteen of the competition, joining Ulinzi Starlets, Nakuru City Queens, and Kibera Soccer Ladies in the draw after Sunday’s FKF Women’s Cup round of 32 action.

The headline match came from Ruaraka Grounds in the morning, where Zetech Sparks thrashed FKF Division One outfit Bungoma Queens 4-1.

It took only three minutes for Yvone Kamene to put Sparks on the lead when she beat the Bungoma goalkeeper to make it 1-0 for the Students.

Sparks managed to double their lead in the 26th minute, and it was Monalisa Achieng who scored the goal to make it 2-0 to the home side.

Bungoma Queens managed to pull one back in the 35th minute, but things turned worse in the second stanza, where Purity Anyetu and Foscah Nashivanda scored a goal each to seal the Last 16 spot.

At Moi Stadium in Kisumu, Vihiga Queens put up a powerful display to crush Kolwa Falcons 3-1 thanks to strikes from Janet Moraa, Winnie Babirye, and Bertha Omita.

Meanwhile, Vihiga Queens' rivals, Thika Queens, traveled to Migori where they were scheduled to meet at the Migori Educational Centre on Sunday afternoon.

Queens recorded a 5-0 victory, with Chris Kach netting a brace, while the other goals came from Sarah Kiarie and Grace Wekesa as the home side gifted them with an own goal.

In the second match, which was played at Ruaraka Stadium, saw Gaspo Women triumph 3-0 against MacMillan Queens. Anne Arusi put the Gatundu South’s based side ahead in the 52nd minute before Elizabeth Wambui added the second four minutes later.
