Benjamin Blazes to Meet Record in 400m Hurdles American star Rai Benjamin reminded the world of his class with a dominant victory in the men’s 400m hurdles, clocking 46.93 to break the previous meet record of 46.98 set by Abderrahman Samba in 2018.

Samba finished second in 47.09, a season best, while fellow American Trevor Bassitt placed third in 48.13.

Attaoui Wins Tactical 800m Battle France’s Mohamed Attaoui thrilled the home crowd with a perfectly timed charge on the inside to win the men’s 800m in a season-best 1:42.73.

In a tightly contested race that saw five athletes dip under 3:58, Ireland’s Sarah Healy surged into second with a personal best of 3:57.15, marking a major milestone in her young career. Ethiopia’s Birke Haylom, who had led through the early stages, settled for third in 3:57.50, a meet record for the U20 category and her season best.

Australia’s Linden Hall took fourth with 3:57.63 (SB), closely followed by Ethiopia’s Worknesh Mesele, who moved up three spots to place fifth in 3:57.95.
