Noah Lyles’ younger brother Josephus Lyles has shared a glimpse of his training ahead of the Texas Relays 2024 scheduled for Wednesday, March 27 to Sunday.
Josephus already started his outdoor season with the 100m, clocking 10.14 (+1.8), the fastest opener ever for him and the fourth fastest 100m run of his career. Before the 100m, he started his season with the 60m races and his first of the season was the Robert Platt Invitational, Houston-Yeoman FH.

Athletics Kenya remains confident of retaining the men’s Olympics marathon title following the death of Kelvin Kiptum and the indifferent form of Eliud Kipchoge.
He finished second in the semi-final, clocking 6.69 to cross the finish line but he did not compete in the final of the race. He then proceeded to the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix, finishing eighth in the final of the race.

He is now gearing up for the Texas Relays, where he intends to continue the hot streak and impress fans just like his brother Noah.
In the video shared on his X (Twitter) handle, the 25-year-old exuded confidence as he captioned it: “Texas Relays next week.”
The triple world champion’s younger brother also intends to make the cut to the Olympic Games in Paris, France, and toe the starting line with his brother.
In an interview with Olympics.com, Josephus mentioned that missing out on the delayed 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games was a setback but he hopes to bounce back this season.
“In 2021, I didn’t make the team, but that wasn’t for me at that time. But a dream delayed is not denied. When I try out for the team in 2024, I know I’m going to be prepared. So, making that team is going to mean the world to me,” he said.
