Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce received an apology after a massive mistake ruined her big day as he was being honored in Jamaica.
The Kingston and St Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAMC) was forced to issue an apology to Jamaican sprint great Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce after misspelling her name on a big occasion.
On Sunday, a street sign was unveiled in honour of the legendary sprinter but it did not have her name written correctly.
The sign, which was marking the renaming of Ashoka Road in Waterhouse, St Andrew, as Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce Drive, had the 10-time world champion’s last name written “Fraser-Price” in what was an embarrassing situation.
