However, the marathoner has announced his withdrawal from the race.
In a heartfelt message, Korir disclosed that his withdrawal was due to an injury.

Albert Korir Withdraws From Boston Marathon
"It’s with pain in my heart (and ankle) that I won’t be competing in Boston on Monday," he wrote, as per Citius Mag.
"The hard work has been put into it, but unfortunately I badly twisted my ankle last Saturday during my last fartlek," added Korir.
Korir was eyeing a fourth successive appearance at the Boston Marathon, where he debuted on the course in 2022 with a time of 2:07:47, securing sixth place.
The following year, he improved his time and placing, finishing fourth with a time of 2:08:01.
