World Wrestling names Nigeria's Blessing Oborodudu as Wrestler of the Month

Blessing Oborodudu, a great wrestler from Nigeria and an African champion, has been selected as the Wrestler of the Month by World Wrestling.

Oborodudu has been a huge surprise on the mat, setting a record by winning a record 13 African championships and the Olympic Silver medal.

She was included in the list on Friday along with American Amit ELOR, who defeated her opponents 36-0 her route to her maiden senior Pan-Am triumph.

In Tunisia, Oborududu secured GOLD in the women's wrestling 68kg division, winning a historic 13th African title.
