The event confirmed Nigeria's increasing standing as a center for global sporting entertainment and took place on Nigeria's Independence Day.

Nigerian-born UK boxer Dan Azeez made an emotional comeback to fight in Nigeria for the first time in a much-anticipated bout.

Azeez a former Commonwealth and European champion faced Sulaimon Adeosun in an exhibition clash.

Azeez was able to give the crowd a good show with a massive knock out win in round four.

The main event featured a thrilling matchup between 2012 Olympic boxer Marcus Browne and American Cruiserweight fighter Brandon Glanton.

Glanton produced a spectacular knockout in round six gave the fans a glimpse of his strength and determination.

The event had a lot of celebrities and important figures such as His Excellency the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Minister of Finance Wale Edun and Chairman of the National Sports Commission Mallam Shehu Dikko.
