GOING NOWHERE? Sadio Mane's Al Nassr future clarified amid shock return links to former club
The future of Senegal superstar and Al Nassr's winger Sadio Mane has been firmly put to bed after he was sensationally linked with a shock return to his old club RB Salzburg.
Mane, 32, left the Austrian side back in 2014 to join Southampton before going on to enjoy six hugely successful years at Anfield, where he established himself as one of the Premier League's finest players.

His move to Bayern Munich in 2022, however, didn't go to plan, with a reported training ground bust-up with Leroy Sane leading to a toxic exit from the German giants.
The talismanic forward then made the switch to Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr, where he has seemingly rediscovered his mojo - scoring 19 goals and providing 11 assists in his first 46 games.
But after his brilliant debut campaign in the Middle East, there were whispers that Mane could be on the move again, this time with a sensational return to his former club Salzburg.
Yet transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has emphatically killed off those rumours, quoting Mane's agent as saying:
I did NOT have any meeting with clubs regarding Sadio. He is preparing the season with Al Nassr and has absolutely no intention to leave. His club is extremely happy with him."
Mane's current deal with Al Nassr, who lost the Saudi Pro League last season, runs until 2026, meaning any departure would require a significant fee - something Salzburg would likely struggle to stump up.
The news will come as a major boost to Al Nassr, who have been delighted with Mane's impact since his arrival from Bavaria.
In a separate development, Mane's 19-year-old wife Aisha Tamba has also been making headlines, after graduating from secondary school just months after her lavish and viral wedding to the Senegalese superstar.
Footage has emerged of Aisha in jubilant spirits as she receives congratulatory messages from family members after securing her Baccalauréat qualification.
It's been a remarkable year for the Mane household, with the ex-Liverpool man seemingly settled in his new surroundings in Saudi Arabia. Any talk of an imminent Salzburg return appears to have been firmly put to bed.
