Rashford’s agent flies to Italy to negotiate a loan deal with AC Milan following Amorim’s snub
The Manchester United star has struggled to perform this season, which has affected his playing time under new manager Ruben Amorim.
The England international has been left out of the Man United squad in the last couple of games with the recent omission against Liverpool.
The forward has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford and could leave the club this January.
Rashord on the move
According to reports, Rashford’s brother, Dwaine Maynard and AC Milan had preliminary discussions in January about loaning the Man United wantaway player.
The Athletic reported that Milan's senior executive team was returning from Riyadh, thus the talks are still in the early stages.
The Milan management is now debating whether to make a bid for Rashford. However, it would just be a loan agreement, and United would be responsible for paying a significant portion of his £350,000 weekly salary.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Milan's senior advisor, is a huge admirer of the England international, who he played with at Old Trafford for two years from 2016 to 2018.
If, at the end of January, Rashford moves to Milan, he will need to prove himself to get enough playing time in the team.
