Napoli’s new manager, Antonio Conte, named an unchanged side that defeated Bologna 3-0 in their previous Serie A match.

Wantaway striker Victor Osimhen was not in the squad after he was banished from the season squad after a failed Chelsea move.

Parma’s manager, on the other hand, made just one change to his side that defeated AC Milan 2-1 last time out.

The game started with both teams looking bright, but it was Parma who hit the back of the net first from the penalty spot.

Ange-Yoan Bonny ran up to the ball, stopped and waited for Alex Meret to commit before slotting the penalty into the middle of the goal.

Parma held on for most of the first half, frustrating Napoli and took their one-goal lead into the halftime break.

The second half started with Napoli trying to get back into the game but left it very late to get the equaliser.

Frank Anguissa then sealed the comeback by heading the ball into the roof of the net from a cross.
