N'Golo Kante: Ex-Chelsea star to link up with Super Eagles forward at next club
Paris FC are reportedly targeting a dream move for World Cup winner N’Golo Kante from Al-Ittihad, hoping to place the French international at the heart of their project to establish a major second club in the capital.
According to Foot Mercato, Kante's current contract with the Saudi Pro League outfit expires in June 2026, and contract negotiations are yet to take place.
Paris FC, owned by the Arnaud family, are hoping to capitalize on this uncertainty and could look to sign the 34-year-old midfielder in the winter transfer window for a fee or wait until the summer for a potentially cheaper deal.
However, the Ligue 1 outfit will not have a clear run at the former Chelsea star's signature, as other Saudi clubs are also reportedly interested in securing the midfielder.
Kante to join Moses Simon in Paris?
If the transfer succeeds, Kante could link up with Super Eagles winger Moses Simon.
The Nigerian international joined Paris FC this summer from Nantes in a deal worth a reported €7 million, signing a three-year contract.
Simon is already proving his worth, scoring the winner in the 1-0 win over Monaco at the weekend and registering two goals in his first seven games since arriving in Paris.
