NBA reveals opening night and Christmas fixtures
The NBA season tips off on October 21st, with the reigning champion Oklahoma City Thunder receiving their rings, as is tradition, against the Houston Rockets.
The marquee matchup of opening night, however, will be the Lakers vs. Warriors clash in Los Angeles, pitting LeBron James and Luka Dončić against Steph Curry.
As the NBA gears up for the 2025-26 season, fans are buzzing with anticipation following the announcement of the Opening Night schedule.
The league's doubleheader to launch the season features two Western Conference matchups: the Houston Rockets vs. the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Golden State Warriors vs. the Los Angeles Lakers.
Oklahoma City the defending champion Thunder will raise their 2025 championship banner with the return of Kevin Durant.
