Mayara Zamboni pens birthday message to Super Eagles defender on 35th birthday

Leon Balogun’s girlfriend Mayara Zamboni has sent him a lovely birthday message as he turned 35 today.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria defender endured a difficult campaign last season at Queens Park Rangers as he saw his return to England marred by injuries.

Balogun who is out of contract with the Championship club is expected to announce his decision on his future soon amid rumours of a potential retirement.

The former Rangers centre-back recently expressed his gratitude for his Super Eagles career.

Balogun hopes to return to the national team ahead of the 2023 AFCON (Africa Cup of Nations) finals in Ivory Coast with the wealth of experience at his disposal.

The gorgeous girlfriend of Leon Balogun took to social media to celebrate her man as he added a new year to his age.

Taking to her Instagram stories, the 29-year-old Brazilian model posted an adorable childhood picture of the footballer being carried by his mother.

She captioned the photo with a message that read: 

‘Happy birthday my favourite person. I love you so much and you deserve the world.’ 

Mayara Zamboni and Leon Balogun have been dating for quite some time now.

Although, it is not exactly known when the pair started seeing each other officially.

In as much as Balogun and Zamboni love to keep their relationship life private, they find a lot of pleasure in often sharing photos together and showing love to each other on Instagram.

The love between the couple continues to grow stronger and the pair are expected to tie the knot soon.
