Sunderland kept their hope of a return to the Premier League alive after a dramatic win against Preston North End on the final day of the Championship season.
Manchester United and Ivorian youngster Amad was again one of the stars as Sunderland thrashed their host 3-0 to seal a place in the playoff.
Amad, 20, opened the floodgates with an excellent screamer before Alex Pritchard and Jack Clarke added two more beautiful goals to seal the deal for the Black Cats.
The Manchester United superstar continued his brilliant season on a loan at the Stadium of Light, with the goal taking his tally to 13 goals for the Cats.
The visitors needed favor from other teams to make it through to the lucrative playoff and it came in the way of Blackburn who put on a show against Millwall in a seven-goal thriller.
Following the dramatic win, Amad and his Sunderland teammates are headed for Wembley where they will face Luton Town next.
