Let's do it - Usain Bolt discloses condition for track return in 'possible' epic rematch with Justin Gatlin and Asafa Powell

Jamaican sprint legend Usain Bolt has disclosed the only condition for a possible track return in an epic rematch with fierce rivals Justin Gatlin, Asafa Powell, Noah Lyles, and other greats.

On the Ready Set Go podcast hosted by prominent Bahamian track icon Rodney Green and Gatlin, the 38-year-old revealed he is not keen on facing his ex-American rival but entertained racing against others during their era.

"I’m ready, just for the fun of it. I’m ready, let’s go. It’ll be fun," said Bolt when asked if he would agree to a rematch with Gatlin.

The Jamaican then added, "Nah man, Justin, him? He’s in too good of a shape. Bro I see him doing starts all the time. I asked him, I text him, ‘Bro, why are you in such good shape?"

Bolt and Gatlin first faced each other in a major event in the 100m final at London 2012. The race ended in victory for the Jamaican with an Olympic Record time of 9.63s, whilst Gatlin finished in third.

However, the American would finally beat him in a major championship final at the London 2017 World Championship as Bolt claimed the bronze medal.

Despite shutting down a rematch with the 2004 Olympic champion, he went on to put together his dream line-up of opponents.

"Me, you, Tyson Gay, Asafa Powell, Yohan Blake. I would definitely like to compete against Maurice Green, Ben Johnson. Let's give Noah (Lyles) the spot just because I would love to race against him."

During their active years as rivals, the sprint legends established one of the greatest rivalries in athletics history, having dominated the men's 100m division from 2008 to 2017.
