The second-ranked seed Las Vegas Aces won Game 5 of the semifinal series 107-98 in overtime, eliminating the No. 6 seed Fever from the WNBA playoffs and advancing to the WNBA Finals for the third time in four years to face the Phoenix Mercury.

Without All-Star Kelsey Mitchell, who was sidelined in the third quarter due to severe leg cramps, the Fever scored 23-15 in the fourth quarter to tie the game and force overtime, despite the Aces leading by as many as nine points in Game 5.

Aliyah Boston, who fouled out in the fourth quarter, was also sidelined for the extra time for the Fever.

The Aces were led in regulation by A'ja Wilson and Jackie Young, but Chelsea Gray stole the show in overtime, scoring eight of her 17 points, including consecutive 3-pointers, in the extra time.

Wilson became the first player in WNBA history to have 25+ points, 3-plus blocks, and 3-plus thefts in consecutive regular season or postseason games after finishing with 35 points, seven rebounds, five assists, four steals, and four blocks.

Wilson tied Breanna Stewart and Diana Taurasi for the most 30-point playoff games in history with his ninth career performance.

Wilson scored 35 points and Jackie Young scored 30 points, making them the first teammates in WNBA postseason history to score 30 points or more in a single game.

Odyssey Sims, a guard for the Fever, scored 27 points in the defeat. Boston finished with 11 points and 16 rebounds after fouling out in the fourth quarter.
