This was revealed in a post by UFC setting the stage for Usman’s main event fight against Joaquin Buckley at UFC Fight Night on June 14, 2025, at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

The pictures shared by UFC features Usman proudly holding the black-and-red Atlanta United jersey.

It comes with the name "Usman" and the number 17, alongside a matching box that ties the gift to the local MLS club.

Usman, nicknamed "The Nigerian Nightmare," brings a rich backstory to this event aiming for a massive statement.

Although recent losses to Leon Edwards and Khamzat Chimaev, Usman makes his UFC return against Joaquin Buckley, with this fight marking his comeback.

Following the defeat to Chimaev at Middleweight he has dropped down to his more familiar welterweight division.
