Jahlil Okafor: Nigerian D'Tigers star gets married in style

Nigerian-American professional basketball player Jahlil Okafor is now a married man.

The 28-year-old star got married recently and took to social media to show off the special occasion.

Okafor posed with his new wife on social media wearing a wine suit.

His wife wearing a white wedding dress was all smiles as they cut the cake.

Okafor was born to parents of Nigerian descent in Fort Smith, Arkansas United States of America.

He rose to fame after helping the Duke Blue Devils with the 2015 national championship.

He was selected with the third overall pick in the 2015 NBA draft by the Philadelphia 76ers.

After the 76ers elected not to pick up the fourth year and traded Okafor, Nik Stauskas, and a second-round draft pick to the Brooklyn Nets, Okafor stated that he would be open to a trade or buyout.

After that, Okafor joined the New Orleans Pelicans and went on to play for the Detroit Pistons.

He has since been featured for Capitanes de Mexico City, Casademont Zaragoza, and Capitanes de Arecibo.

Okafor despite playing for America at underage level was part of Nigeria's senior men's basketball team known as D'Tigers to the 2020 Olympic Games.
