The video was posted with the words “Ederson is an absolute menace.”

In what was a dominant performance from Pep Guardiola and his men, Arsenal was beaten and thrashed in the one-sided affair.

A masterclass from Kevin de Bruyne and Erling Haaland inspired the Cityzens to a comprehensive and crucial victory.

De Bruyne scored two of the goals and assisted one while Haaland wore his playmaking boots as he assisted both goals scored by De Bruyne before he wrapped up the night with a deserved fourth for the home side.

Rob Holding, who had a rough night against the 22-year-old Norwegian, made the scoreline more respectable with a fine consolation for the Gunners late on.

But in the end, it was City who were the biggest winners on the day as they are now two points behind the leaders, Arsenal, who have played two games more.
