The in-form Harambee Stars striker was the hero for the Kitwe-based club, securing a crucial win that extends their lead at the top of the league table. This victory marks their second high-scoring win in a week.

Shumah, who moved to the Zambian champions from Kakamega Homeboyz at the beginning of the season, put his side ahead in the 18th minute with a calm and collected finish.

However, Zesco United mounted a strong response. The nine-time league champions equalised in the 33rd minute when Amine Hiver rose above the defence to head the ball into the net. Hiver struck again just seven minutes later, completing a quick turnaround and giving Zesco a 2-1 advantage going into halftime.

Power Dynamos came out for the second half with renewed determination. Their relentless pressure was rewarded in the 65th minute when Shumah showcased his aerial ability, leaping high to power a header past goalkeeper Philip Sakauta and level the score.

With the match seemingly headed for a draw, Shumah, the reigning Kenyan Premier League Golden Boot winner, delivered the decisive blow. With just 10 minutes remaining, he completed his hat-trick with a clinical strike, sealing a remarkable comeback for the visitors, nicknamed "Aba Yellow."

This was Shumah's first hat-trick in the Zambian top flight and concluded an exceptional week for the forward, who also scored twice in Dynamos' 3-1 win against Green Buffaloes.

His latest goals bring his season total to 12, placing him at the top of the Golden Boot race in his debut campaign. The victory lifts Power Dynamos to 48 points, establishing a commanding five-point lead as they move closer to defending their league title.
