Ferdinand Omanyala's foundation hits the ground running as he unveils ambitious plan
Commonwealth Games champion Ferdinand Omanyala has hit the ground running with his foundation that has now benefited one sprinter.
Omanyala had the vision of starting an organisation, the Omanyala foundation, for nurturing young talent and building a sprinting community in Kenya. He is not resting on his laurels as he has already started impacting the lives of the youngsters.
Omanyala was proud to share that they will be supporting one athlete who will compete at the High School National Athletics Championships.
The foundation shared a photo of Omanyala with the youngster who was being supported as he geared up for the national event.
Going forward, the foundation will also be keen to partner with the Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association and pick the best athletes in both the 100m and 200m every year.
