This season, Nikola Jokic averaged 29.6 points, 12.7 rebounds, and 10.2 assists, while Shai Gilgeous-Alexander averaged 32.7 points, 5 rebounds, and 6.4 assists. Jokic has won the MVP award three times—in 2021, 2022, and 2024—while this is Shai's first MVP title.

A Familiar MVP Celebration

The Canadian's MVP celebration was something we've seen before. Shai gifted all his teammates Rolex watches. Nikola Jokic did the same for his Serbian national team teammates after winning the bronze medal at the previous Olympics.

When an image of the watch surfaced, the specific model was identified. According to the specialized website "Sat na ruci" (Watch on the Wrist), it's a stainless steel Rolex Daytona.

Initially, there was speculation that the world's best basketball player shelled out around €400,000 for 11 watches. However, according to this social media profile, Jokic likely purchased the watches from an authorized Rolex dealer, where this model retails for €15,600.

A photo recently surfaced of the watch Aleksa Avramovic received. The inscription engraved on the back was also revealed: "Jokara teammates, Paris 2024," along with the teammates' last names.
