Davido: Nigerian Afrobeats star performs as Cameroon NBA MVP Joel Embiid weds Anne de Paula

Joel Embiid, a standout for the Philadelphia 76ers and Cameroon, has finally received his ring. 

On Saturday in the Hamptons, the current NBA MVP married his longtime girlfriend, Anne de Paula.

The wedding ceremony was attended by Embiid's family, as well as friends and family from Cameroon. 

A few of the big man's Sixers colleagues also showed up to spend the day with the team's star player.

NBA stars at the wedding include Georges Niang, Tyrese Maxey, Tobias Harris, and De'Anthony Melton.

The newlyweds danced to "Back at One" by Brian McKnight for those who attended the ceremony.

Through a common friend, Joel Embiid and Anne de Paula first connected in 2018.

After getting to know one another for a few months, they began dating. 

The two welcomed Arthur Elijah into their lives in September 2020.

Viral videos from the wedding reception have now surfaced on social media.

American-born Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer David Adedeji Adeleke, who is professionally known as Davido performed for Embiid and his new wife.

Davido who recently performed in Houston is on tour in the United States of America (USA) and was able to connect to New York for the wedding.
