Flick's unstoppable Blaugrana machine
The former Bayern Munich boss is coaching Barcelona to unprecedented levels of offensive potency. They lead Europe's top five leagues in goals scored and chances created this season and could break the record for most goals scored in a LALIGA season (121 by Real Madrid 2011-2012).

A record they have certainly broken, however, is the most goals (55) scored by Barcelona after 16 games. The previous record (54 goals) was set under Ferdinand Daucik in the 1950/51 season.
Barcelona have secured big wins against Bayern Munich and Real Madrid (x2) this season. They finished second in the Champions League's first phase and are one of the favourites to lift the competition.
What Guardiola said
Ahead of Manchester City's Champions League playoff clash against Real Madrid, the Spaniard was quizzed about the showings of his former club this season.
The 1992 Olympic gold medallist is one of the greatest coaches in Barcelona's history. He won 14 titles in four years and, along with Johann Cryuff, is regarded as the greatest coach in the club's history.
According to Pep, Flick's Barcelona are comparable to the best of the best Blaugrana sides over the years, which includes his squad, Cryuff's, and Enrique's, among others.
“This season, Barça is performing exceptionally well and can be compared to the best versions of Barcelona in history,” Pep said, per GFNS.
Pep still holds the record for being the most successful manager in the club's history, a record Flick will hope to beat. The German has already picked up the first available title for the season, the Supercopa de Espana. They reignited their LALIGA title hopes last weekend by cutting the gap on Real Madrid and Atletico and are one of the favourites for the UCL.
