Rising Stars Head Coach Salim Babu has announced his starting eleven for the highly anticipated Group A opener against Tanzania in the AFCON U20 CECAFA Qualifier.

The team is set to kick off their campaign at 4 PM EAT at the KMC Stadium in Dar es Salaam, with the match being broadcast live on Azam TV and CECAFA TV's YouTube channel.

Ibrahim Wanzala has been entrusted with goalkeeping duties, while Captain Amos Wanjala anchors a solid defensive unit that includes Manzur Suleiman, Baron Ochieng, and Rodgers Obusu.

The midfield will see Kelly Madada, William Mwangi, Andres Odhiambo, and Kevin Wanganya tasked with controlling the tempo of the game and providing the link between defence and attack.
