‘Burna or Davido?’ - Super Eagles star Maduka Okoye names his best musician

Okoye was recently with the Super Eagles during their World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic but was an unused substitute in both games.

The Udinese goalkeeper has always loved listening to Nigerian music and has a favourite musician.

During a recent interview, Okoye informed Nigerians about his favourite musician, whom he loves listening to.

In a recent interview, the footballer was asked to pick between the two best artists, Burna Boy and Davido. Okoye immediately picked Davido over Burna Boy 

In a video shared on X by @𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗷𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗯𝗼𝘆, Okoye said, “David? Yeah. Musically, bro. Yes, of course, 1000%.

“No, no, no, I know both of them, but of course, Burna Boys is top, but for me, Davido is the best, I prefer Davido.

“I listen more to Davido than Burna Boy, but there are songs from Burna Boy that I love, but there is more of Davido in my playlist than Burna Boy.

“Yeah, but I really like it. I think I didn't say it in our first interview, but becoming older, I started listening to much  Davido.”

Although he acknowledged that both artists are excellent, he went with Davido since he enjoys listening to him more and has a larger selection of his songs than Burna Boy's.
