Barcelona president mocks Real Madrid after Liverpool defeat

Barcelona's president Joan Laporta poked fun at Real Madrid after their eternal rivals suffered their second defeat of the season, a 1-0 loss in the Champions League to Real Madrid.

Ahead of Barcelona's Champions League clash against Club Brugge, the Blaugrana president spoke to the media. During the stop, a Real Madrid fan interrupted and yelled, “Hala Madrid.”

Laporta returned the banter, responding by saying, “Yesterday was rough,” referencing Los Blancos loss to Arne Slot’s Reds at Anfield. 

The 15-time champions were handed their first defeat of the competition's league phase by a struggling side thanks to an Alexis MacAllister header. 

Meanwhile, Hansi Flick has made a demand regarding Marcus Rashford following the Barcelona loanee's candid admission about his current form.

Meanwhile, Barcelona are reportedly considering a move for Harry Kane in the summer, and vice versa, amid the recent revelation of the availability of a release clause in his Bayern Munich contract. 

Harry Kane joined Bayern Munich from Tottenham in August 2023 on a contract running until 30 June 2027. Recently, it was revealed that he has a €65 million release clause which could allow him to leave the Bavarian side next summer.
