Ballon d'Or winner? Ancelotti's choice is clear as Real Madrid duo fight for top prize
Real Madrid's Champions League-winning manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has thrown his weight behind Vinicius Junior to win the 2024 Ballon d'Or.
Vinicius was in exceptional form last season, shouldering the creative and goalscoring burden alongside fellow Ballon d'Or candidate Jude Bellingham.
Bellingham scored 23 goals, and Vini led all scorers with 24, and 11 assists.

Club president Florentino Perez also echoed the same sentiments and backed Vinicius for glory.
"Vini Jr should win Ballon d’Or. There is no doubt," Perez said after the match.
