Fountain Gate offered fans to vote for their best player for the calendar year, with Chebet running out the clear winner among supporters.

The goalkeeper produced many memorable performances across the season and was key to Fountain Gate's third-place finish in the league.

However, she was beaten to the Fountain Gate's Best Goalkeeper of the Year by another Kenyan international, Wilfrida Seda.

Chebet joined the club in July 2022 from FKF Women Premier League (KWPL) side Wadadia Women.

Before switching to Fountain Gate, Chebet helped Wadadia finish eighth on the log with 24 points.

She enjoyed a memorable campaign at Wadaida and was named the club's Best Goalkeeper for the 2021/2022 season with nine clean sheets from 22 matches.
