2026 HSBC SVNS2: Time, Where to Watch as Shujaa and Lionesses Look to Roar at Home

As Kenya’s Shujaa and Lionesses remain keen to impress on home soil during the 2026 HSBC SVNS2 tournament, here is how and where you can catch the live action.

Kenyan Sevens and Lionesses will be looking to make home ground advantage count when they take to the pitch during the Rugby 2026 HSBC SVNS 2 tournament in Nairobi this weekend.

Nyayo Stadium will be the centre of attraction as rugby action takes place on Saturday and Sunday and with tickets sold out, there is extra pressure on the hosts to win the titles.

The HSBC SVNS2 is the second tier World Rugby Sevens competition with Nairobi being the first leg before Montevideo, Uruguay (March 21-22) and Sao Paulo, Brazil (March 28-29) with points collected being crucial to earning a spot in the top tier SVNS1 next season.

Both Shujaa and Lionesses named experienced teams for the tournament and will look to start on a high with the men’s team set to begin action against Canada (10.50am) on Saturday before facing Belgium (1.52pm) and then Germany at 4.54pm.

Formidable Kenyan Squads

Meanwhile, the women’s team will begin Day 1 action with a clash against Brazil (9.44am), and then take on China (12.46pm) before finalising their day with a match against Argentina at 3.48pm.

Both sides named experienced teams with the Shujaa squad, who will be captained by George Ooro and Samuel Asati, having top names like Patrick Odongo, Kevin Wekesa, John Okoth, Dennis Abukuse, Nygel Amaitsa and Vincent Onyala among the 12-man team.

Meanwhile, Lionesses will be captained by Sheila Chajira and also have experienced heads like Grace Okulu, co-captain Freshia Oduor.

In the men’s division, Shujaa will contest for the title with Canada, Belgium, Germany, Uruguay and the USA, while the Lionesses have Brazil, China, South Africa, Argentina and Spain in the women’s category.

Fans can catch live 2026 HSBC SVNS2 action for free on KBC TV while those with pay TV can watch it on SuperSport TV. There is also the option of streaming online on RugbyPass. The first match will kick off at 9am.
