After finishing Day Three on a high, the Spaniard is confident of getting better results on the final day of the tournament.

He also expressed excitement to be playing alongside his brother, Nacho Elvira who has also made the cut to the final day.

In an interview, he said: “The day was really good and I was in position most of the time. I also gave myself as many chances as I could and capitalised on the clear chances."

“Obviously being on top with my brother feels really nice and I hope we play together tomorrow but it’s a bit complicated. Overall, I’m really happy for the both of us.”

Meanwhile, Darius Van Driel of the Netherlands, who is also leading alongside Elvira, has insisted that he is under no pressure going into the last round of the showpiece.

The Netherlands’ pro has led the event from Day One and he admitted that he will just play his game and hit the fairways more despite having his lead threatened by a three-way tie on Friday.

His lead has also been threatened by Elvira, who seems to mean business and is coming up slowly with the hope of walking away with the top prize.
