The 800m Olympics champion surprised fans earlier this week by swapping her trademark blonde ponytail for deep chocolate brown curls.
Hodgkinson shared a series of headshots on social media showcasing the new style, captioning the post: "New York made me do it."

Athlos, an innovative two-day meet, was created by Williams' husband and Reddit co-founder, Alexis Ohanian, to offer female athletes a high-profile competition with one of the sport's most significant prize funds.
