Kaizer Chiefs have ruled out a move for Michael Olunga and are now accelerating efforts to sign a different striker.
Michael Olunga was on the radar of South African giants Kaizer Chiefs, but their pursuit hit a snag, and they have since shifted focus to finding another prolific goal scorer.
Head coach Nasreddine Nabi has insisted on the need to have a formidable striker and had initially targeted Michael Olunga and Fiston Mayele, but Soccer Laduma has suggested that neither player is currently a viable option.
Kaizer Chiefs recently announced the signing of Flavio Silva, but according to an insider, the club has shifted its focus to other potential targets.
