A young Kenyan defender has secured a big-money move to Egyptian giants Zamalek where he is set to test himself amongst the best in Africa.
Kenyan players have been on the move in recent weeks with a number of them joining paid ranks abroad and the latest is right-back Baron Ochieng.
The Sofapaka right-back has completed a big-money move to Egypt where he has signed for Zamalek, one of Africa’s most successful teams, and the second most popular club in the North African country.
Ochieng, who captained Kenya at the Africa U20 Cup of Nations in May, leaves Sofapaka where he has been one of the standout players in his two years at the club.
