Former Harambee Stars captain celebrates students' KCSE success under his foundation.

Former Harambee Stars captain Victor Wanyama has extended his heartfelt congratulations to seven students under his foundation for their remarkable performances in the 2023 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations.

The results, released by the Ministry of Education on Monday, highlighted the academic achievements of these young talents.

Omondi Tamara Zawadi, a student from Sironga High School, emerged as the shining star of the Victor Wanyama Foundation, securing an impressive A- in the KCSE exams.

Eva Moraa, also from Sironga High School, and four other students - Shikomere Albert Siema, Shem Trizah, Sammy Ariko, and Makokha Lamech, who attended different secondary schools, achieved a notable B grade.

This exceptional performance by the foundation's students has undoubtedly left their mentor, Victor Wanyama, immensely proud.

"I want to take this opportunity to congratulate my little heroes and heroines from The Victor Wanyama Foundation @victorwanyamaf who sat for their KCSE last year. Your hard work and zeal didn't go unrecognized," wrote Victor Wanyama, expressing his joy and admiration for the students' dedication to their studies.

In 2019, when Victor Wanyama launched the scholarship program, it was specifically designed for boys and girls who scored 400 marks and above in the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE).

This initiative was driven by Wanyama's commitment to uplifting young talents and providing them with opportunities to excel in their education.

Beyond his accomplishments on the football field, the CF Montreal midfielder formally established the Victor Wanyama Foundation in 2019.

The foundation's vision encompasses a 20-acre piece of land in Busia, where they are building the main center to carry out their mission.

Registered as a non-profit company limited by guarantee, the foundation primarily focuses on four key pillars: health, education, sports, environment, and wildlife conservation.

Through his foundation, Victor Wanyama aims to make a lasting impact on the lives of young Kenyans by fostering academic excellence and nurturing talent in various fields.

The foundation's holistic approach to development encompasses not only education but also health, sports, and environmental conservation, creating a well-rounded foundation for success.
