French midfielder Paul Pogba has reportedly refused two offers to play in Africa as he looks for a return to action after the end to his 18-month doping ban.

Former Manchester United and Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has reportedly turned down a chance to play in Africa following the end of his ban.

Pogba officially became free to play again after 18 months out following a doping ban but he is yet to find a club over two months later.

A number of sides have been linked with the 2018 World Cup winner but no deal has materialised and now reports claim two Moroccan clubs have expressed an interest in the 32-year-old Frenchman but he has no desire to play in Africa.

Two Moroccan Clubs Fail to Convince Paul Pogba

Paul Pogba is keen to remain in Europe.

Moroccan outlet LeSiteInfo has reported that Wydad Athletic Club failed in their attempts to lure Pogba to North Africa ahead of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and now, local rivals RS Berkane, who won the league and CAF Confederation Cup, have also tried but have not been successful.

“The information I have is that the player will not play in Africa," journalist Adel Al-Amari told LeSiteInfo as quoted by South African outlet Soccer Laduma.

"He refused Wydad and will not accept to play for Nahdat Berkane, unless other matters occur that change the player’s thinking and convictions."

Pogba is reportedly keen to stay in Europe and has also turned down approaches to the United States in a bid to remain on the continent.
