Kenya Police did not enjoy an ideal first leg to the ongoing FKFPL season.

Kenya Police FC captain Musa Mohammed has revealed their strategy for the rest of the season following a very inconsistent end to the first leg of the FKF Premier League season.

The Law Enforcers are currently in eighth place on 24 points after 17 matches, winning six, drawing six, and losing the other five matches, and they now sit a whole 13 points below leaders Gor Mahia.

Their end to 2023 was tumultuous as they sacked Zdravko Logarušić after he fell out with his dressing room following his volatile comments, questioning the player's abilities following their 2-0 loss to KCB in December.

They did however start 2024 well as they brushed aside Kakamega Homeboyz 3-0 to begin their quest to correct their season in order to achieve their targets for the season.

Mohammed, a former Gor Mahia and Harambee Stars defender, has revealed the side’s strategic approach for the remaining 17 league games of the season.

“The only thing is that we have to focus on game by game,” Mohammed told Pulse Sports.

“We tried to focus on this first game (of the year) to see how we would finish this first leg and it is important that we finished having won.”

“We are planning and hoping that the next game we will be as dominant as the one against Homeboyz.”

Despite boasting several international players, the South C-based side has struggled to replicate their form from the previous season.

Salim Babu took charge as Police thumped Homeboyz in their opening game of the year 3-0 and will be hoping he can oversee his side maintain that momentum in order to secure the head coach role on a permanent basis.

The next few weeks will undoubtedly be crucial for the club's management as they weigh their options and make decisions that could reshape the future of the club.
