Both sides settled for a 1-1 draw over the weekend.

Following their 1-1 draw against FC Talanta, Tusker FC head coach Robert Matano has pointed out four costly errors that prevented them from claiming all three points.

The Brewers dropped further ground in the title race as they now trail log leaders Gor Mahia by six points with the reigning league champions having played a game less.

Matano admitted that they were not at their best in the clash against Talanta as he went out to reveal the errors that denied them victory on Sunday.

“We did not play well, we did not control the game, we gave away easy goals, and we had a lack of concentration from the defense and how they marked. Second half we came strongly and hope to maintain the same tempo.

Others were wasting time in the game, to them that was a win but to us, it was a loss. There's however nothing we can do, we will continue working hard,” said the former AFC Leopards coach.

Victor Ochieng opened the scoring for Talanta in the first half but Charles Momanyi restored parity for Tusker with five minutes left on the clock to snatch a point for the Brewers.

Matano is still confident that they can retain their title as he noted that the clash against Ulinzi Stars on Wednesday 15 March will not be a walk in the park.

“The league is a process, we cannot say it's hard but also it's better one point than nothing. We have to pick it from there and I know we will play a tough match on Thursday but we will be ready and have to rectify the mistake,” added Matano.
