Manchester United reportedly saw a huge bid for Frankfurt's Kolo Muani rejected.

According to reports, Manchester United made a bid worth €70 million for Eintracht Frankfurt's Randal Kolo Muani, but the German side rejected the offer.

What happened

Manchester United were in the market for a striker all summer before eventually signing Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta.

Although the Red Devils have filled up what was seen as a problem position, a report by L'Equipe's Loic Tanzi surfaced this morning claiming that Manchester United had a €70 million offer turned down by Frankfurt for Kolo Muani.

However, it is unclear if the offer was made before the signing of young Hojlund, or whether the Premier League side wanted Muani in spite of the presence of their new Danish striker.

PSG preparing Muani bid

According to GFFN, Paris Saint-Germain are interested in bringing in the French striker, as they have shown interest all summer.

Per the report, they are preparing a bid worth €70 million, which effectively matches the previous offer the German side rejected from the Erik Ten Hag-coached side.

The player is said to have already agreed personal terms with the French champions on a five-year contract and is waiting for an agreement to be reached between the clubs.

Bayern Munich were also interested in Muani, according to reports, but they have now splashed on England's record-top scorer Harry Kane.
