Libyan club Al-Ittihad are rumoured to have turned their attention on Azam FC playmaker Feisal Salum, also known as Fei Toto, as they look to build a strong squad.
Libyan club Al-Ittihad are reportedly planning an audacious attempt to lure the best paid player in the Tanzanian league to Tripoli.
Al-Ittihad have already convinced South African forward Thembinkosi Lorch and Burkina Faso international Stephane Aziz Ki to join them from Moroccan giants Wydad Athletic Club this month.
The Libyan club has made Lorch one of the best players in Africa after agreeing to pay Wydad $1.5 million (Ksh193 million) in transfer fees and offered the forward a salary of $75,000 (Ksh9.5 million) per month.

Libyan club Al-Ittihad have offered a mouth-watering deal to South African forward Thembinkosi Lorch who has agreed to join them from Moroccan giants Wydad AC.
Can Al-Ittihad Convince Fei Toto to Move?
Even with the two mega-money deals, they are still trying to bring in more players and the latest reports indicate that they have set their sights on Azam FC’s Feisal Salum, popularly known as Fei Toto.
Salum is the highest paid player in the Tanzanian league with a reported salary of $27,000 (Ksh3.5 million) per month after signing a new one-year deal last September that made him the outright top earner in the division.
His deal also included a signing-on bonus of $308,000 (Ksh39.8 million), a house as well as a Toyota Anaconda MV which convinced him to extend his stay at the club amid interest from South African giants Kaizer Chiefs and North African sides.

Tanzanian club Azam have gone all-out to retain popular midfielder Fei Toto with a big-money new contract that includes other mouth-watering incentives.
Libyan Outfit Keen to Offer Big-Money Bid
However, Al-Ittihad are reported to be ready to test Azam and Fei Toto’s resolve with a $2.5 million (Ksh323 million) bid and a salary offer that would dwarf what he is currently on.
It remains to be seen if Salum would be convinced as the Zanzibar-born playmaker appears happy in Tanzania at the moment as he looks to lift Azam to league and CAF Confederation Cup glory.
Salum and his Azam teammates have been in good form since the year started, winning three and drawing one of their four matches, including a 2-1 victory against Nairobi United in Confederation Cup last Sunday, and will face the Kenyan side in the return leg this weekend.
