Brentford star striker Ivan Toney has humorously addressed transfer speculation linking him away from the club by suggesting that manager Thomas Frank "doesn't want him" following the club's 2-0 victory over Wolves.
The 27-year-old has been the subject of intense transfer rumours, with both Chelsea and Arsenal reportedly interested in securing his services for around £80 million.
Frank acknowledged the likelihood of Toney being sold in the upcoming summer transfer window.
"It’s quite obvious that Toney will most likely be sold in the summer. It can be expensive to sell your best player, but on the other hand, I also know that by the summer, he’ll only have a year left on his contract with us," Frank said last weekend.
"We also know what he’s worth. I don’t think there are many strikers in the world who are better than him right now."
