Kenyan defender Clyde Senaji has spoken about his future following his exit from Malawian giants Nyasa Big Bullets with Gor Mahia heavily linked with him.

Kenyan defender Clyde Senaji has weighed in on his future following his surprise exit from Malawian giants Nyasa Big Bullets.

Senaji enjoyed a great time at Bullets following his signing in 2023, winning the league, and was even made captain at the start of last season.

However, a coaching change at the club saw him fall out with the new tactician and both parties agreed to part ways at the end of the season, making him available as a free agent.

That has attracted interest from a number of clubs and among those eyeing his signature are record Kenyan champions Gor Mahia, who are in the process of rebuilding the squad after ending trophyless in 2024-25.

Senaji admits receiving offers from a top Kenyan side but is not in a hurry to make a decision given he has other options to choose from as well.

"We mutually decided to part ways because of some issues. Most of the time when a team changes coaches, things become different and it was in the best interest for both of us to part ways," Senaji told Telecomasia.net over his departure from Malawi.

"So far, I have received several offers from both within Malawi and back at home in Kenya. There is a big offer I have received from Kenya and I am still weighing it up. I will look at everything on my table within the next two weeks and make a final call on where I will head from here."

The defender had not featured for Bullets since the end of May when his coach Peter Mponda blasted him for asking time off in the middle of a busy season, having started five of his club’s 10 league matches at the time.
